The VIGI NVR2008H-8MP from TP-Link is an 8-channel PoE+ network video recorder designed for small to medium-sized IP surveillance systems. It supports up to 8 connected cameras and provides 4K HDMI video output for high-definition live monitoring and playback.

This NVR includes 8 built-in 10/100 Mbps PoE+ ports with a total 90W PoE budget, allowing compatible IP cameras to receive both power and data through a single Ethernet cable, simplifying installation and reducing infrastructure costs.

It supports flexible decoding performance, including up to 8 channels at 4MP resolution or 4 channels at 8MP, along with 8-channel synchronous playback for efficient video review. With 160 Mbps incoming and outgoing bandwidth, it ensures smooth and stable video streaming across all connected cameras.

For storage, the system includes 2 SATA interfaces supporting up to 16TB total capacity, enabling extended video retention depending on drive configuration. It also uses H.265+ compression technology to reduce storage usage while maintaining high video quality.

Additional features include HDMI and VGA outputs that can operate independently or simultaneously, as well as remote monitoring capabilities for viewing live and recorded footage from anywhere.
