Takex FS-5000E UV Flame Sensor

The FS-5000E is an ultraviolet (UV) flame sensor designed for both indoor and outdoor fire detection applications. It detects ultraviolet radiation emitted by open flames and immediately triggers an alarm output when a flame is identified, enabling fast response for fire prevention and safety systems.

This sensor offers a detection range of up to approximately 33 feet and features a weather-resistant housing, making it suitable for outdoor environments as well as industrial indoor locations where fire risk must be closely monitored. It operates on a 10 to 30VDC power supply and supports both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) output configurations for flexible integration with fire alarm or security control panels.

The FS-5000E is commonly used in areas where fire hazards must be strictly controlled, such as industrial facilities, fuel storage areas, and restricted environments where early flame detection is critical.
