The EVD-M is the main controller unit of the Electronic Vibration Detector System designed for high-security intrusion detection applications. It works in conjunction with a compatible remote pickup sensor to detect vibration or forced entry attempts on protected surfaces such as safes, vaults, ATM machines, file cabinets, walls, and display cases.
As the system’s central processing unit, the EVD-M analyzes vibration signals received from the remote sensor and triggers an alarm output when suspicious activity is detected. It is designed to integrate with UL listed control panels for use in primary or supplementary protection applications in commercial and financial environments.
The EVD-M is typically used as part of a two-component system (controller and remote sensor) to provide reliable monitoring and early detection of physical tampering or forced entry attempts. The standard EVD-2 system consists of a model EVD-M controller and a model EVD-R remote pickup.
