SD-998C-BD3A is a heavy-duty, surface-mounted electric rim strike designed for reliable access control on metal or wood door frames. Operating on 12/24VDC, it features a robust 1,500-lb jaw strength and a durable 1/2" (19mm) thick metal housing for demanding security applications.

The strike accommodates Pullman latches up to 3/4" and provides flexible installation with horizontal adjustment. Its field-programmable design allows the unit to be configured for either fail-safe or fail-secure operation, providing flexibility for different access control requirements.
