Altronix ACM8E Access Power Controller, 8 Fused Relay Outputs, FAI, BC400 Enclosure
The Altronix ACM8E is a versatile access control power distribution module that converts a single 12–24V AC or DC input into eight independently controlled, fuse-protected outputs. Each output can be configured to operate as either a power output or converted into a dry form “C” relay contact, providing flexible integration with a wide range of access control systems.
Designed for use with devices such as magnetic locks, electric strikes, magnetic door holders, keypads, card readers, push buttons, and motion sensors, the ACM8E allows reliable and centralized control of multiple security devices. Outputs can be triggered through open collector inputs or normally open (NO) dry contacts, making it compatible with most standard access control panels.
The unit supports both fail-safe and fail-secure operation modes and can be powered by either a single shared power supply or two independent power sources—one for module operation and another for lock power. It also includes a fire alarm control panel (FACP) interface, enabling emergency egress functions, alarm-triggered release, or activation of auxiliary devices. Each output can be individually configured to disconnect during a fire alarm event, enhancing safety and compliance in building security systems.

Fire Alarm disconnect input options:
a) Normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) dry contact input.
b) Polarity reversal input from FACP signaling circuit.
- FACP output relay (form "C" contact rated @ 1A 28VDC not evaluated by UL).
- Removable terminal blocks facilitate ease of installation.
- Red LEDs indicate outputs are triggered (relays energized).
- Green LED indicates FACP disconnect is triggered.
