The XRN-6420B2 is a high-capacity 8K network video recorder (NVR) designed for large-scale enterprise and mission-critical surveillance systems. It supports up to 64 IP camera channels and is built on an Intel-based platform to deliver strong processing performance, stability, and advanced multi-stream recording capabilities.

It supports H.265, H.264, and MJPEG compression formats and is compatible with SUNAPI and ONVIF protocols for broad integration with third-party and Wisenet cameras. The system provides up to 520 Mbps of recording throughput and up to 200 Mbps of playback performance, allowing it to efficiently manage high-density, high-resolution video streams.

The recorder includes eight SATA bays, each supporting up to 10TB, enabling scalable storage configurations for long-term video retention. It supports RAID 5 and RAID 6 (with required drive configurations), as well as iSCSI external storage expansion. The unit ships without hard drives, allowing customized storage deployment.

For system reliability, it includes ARB (Automatic Recovery Backup) and N+1 failover support to ensure continuous recording even in the event of hardware or network failure. It also supports WiseStream technology for optimized bandwidth management.

The XRN-6420B2 features dual HDMI outputs for flexible multi-monitor display configurations and supports up to 32MP resolution recording and live viewing. It includes additional professional features such as fisheye dewarping (local or CMS-based), AI search capabilities when used with Wisenet AI cameras, alarm inputs/outputs, two-way audio, and P2P QR code setup for simplified remote access.
