The XRN-820S-8TB is a compact 8K-capable network video recorder (NVR) designed for small to mid-sized surveillance systems that require integrated recording, PoE camera connectivity, and advanced video management features.

It supports up to 8 IP camera channels and includes 8 built-in PoE/PoE+ ports with a total PoE budget of 100W, allowing direct connection and power delivery to compatible cameras without the need for external switches. The system supports H.265, H.264, and MJPEG compression formats for flexible and efficient video recording.

For storage, it comes with 8TB total raw capacity and supports two internal SATA hard drives (up to 6TB per drive), providing scalable local storage for continuous recording. It offers a recording throughput of up to 100 Mbps and playback performance of up to 32 Mbps, making it suitable for standard multi-camera deployments.

The recorder supports dual-stream recording and WiseStream technology to optimize bandwidth and storage usage while maintaining video quality. It also includes ARB (Automatic Recovery Backup) to help recover footage from edge storage in case of network interruptions.
