The KT-WLS-WIE from Kantech is a four-channel long-range wireless receiver designed for use with the Ranger® access control system. It provides a high-frequency identification solution for security applications that require reliable, long-distance credential transmission.
This receiver communicates with compatible Ranger transmitters and converts received signals into standard Wiegand outputs. It supports four independent channels (A, B, C, and D), allowing multiple input types or functions to be processed separately by an access control panel.
Each Wiegand output format is determined by the encoded data within the associated Ranger transmitter, enabling flexible configuration based on system requirements. This makes the KT-WLS-WIE suitable for applications such as gate access, perimeter control, and other long-range entry points where traditional card readers are not practical.
