The Securitron XMS2 is a passive infrared (PIR) Request-to-Exit (REX) motion sensor designed to provide reliable, hands-free door access. It detects motion near a secured door and automatically signals the access control system to release the electronic lock, allowing convenient and touch-free exit. The XMS2 is well suited for commercial, institutional, and other access control applications where reliable motion detection and hands-free egress are required.
