The AC-825IP is a 4-door networked access controller and is the backbone of a medium-scale to high-scale security system. The controller comes with one onboard expansion slot. Using only D-805 door expansion boards, a single AC-825IP can handle up to 58 doors and 60,000 users. The AC-825IP access control unit (ACU) supports up to 4 doors (In/Out) via Wiegand protocol, each with 2 inputs and 1 output. Four additional auxiliary inputs and 2 auxiliary outputs are also on board. In addition, the AC-825IP and its expansions can be placed in a lockable metal enclosure, the ME-1515, which includes a control board, power switcher, built-in power management board/charger, sounder, and a revolutionary enclosure illumination bar that lights up when the enclosure is opened.
